Beatrice Maria Adelaide Marzia Vio, detta Bebe, è una ragazza straordinaria che conserva tutta la freschezza dei suoi ventidue anni, e ha imparato ad affrontare le vicissitudini della vita con il sorriso sulle labbra. Bebe è una schermitrice italiana, campionessa paralimpica – mondiale ed europea in carica di fioretto individuale – tra le più famose e amate a livello internazionale. I suoi trionfi sportivi sono noti a tutti, quello che invece più la mette in risalto è la sua incredibile personalità che, unita ad una buona dose di coraggio e grazie alla sua determinazione, oggi è la prima schermitrice a gareggiare con protesi a tutti e quattro gli arti a causa della meningitre che l’ha colpita nel 2008, mettendo seriamente a rischio la sua vita.

Beatrice Maria Adelaide Marzia Vio, called Bebe, is an extraordinary girl who keeps all the freshness of her twenty-two years, and has learned to face the vicissitudes of life with a smile on her lips. Bebe is an Italian fencer, Paralympic world and European champion in the individual foil category, she is among the most famous and loved at international level. Her sporting triumphs are known to all, but what most underlines her is her incredible personality which, combined with a good dose of courage and thanks to her determination, is today the first fencer to compete with prostheses for all four the limbs because of the meningitis that struck her in 2008, seriously endangering her life.
